Craft Beer International ("we," "our," "us") operates CraftBeerInternational.com and its city-specific domains (collectively, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
Directly from you: name, email, phone, business info, and other details you submit through sponsor sign-up, event creation, merch checkout, Comments, or contact forms — plus any videos, logos, or documents you upload.
Automatically: IP address, browser/device type, general location, pages visited, and cookie data.
Third-Party Services We Use
We work with the following service providers to run the Site. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function.
Processes sponsor subscription, event fee, and merch payments. Handles your card details directly; we store your subscription/order status, not your full card number.
Hosts and streams patron, organizer, event, and sponsor videos via CDN.
Converts uploaded video audio to text, server-side, so videos are searchable and captioned. Only audio is sent; no other account data.
Generates styled captions for videos. Captioned files may pass through Cloudflare R2 storage as ZapCap's infrastructure provider.
With your consent, we use Google OAuth to publish approved videos to CBI's YouTube channel. Sponsors may also connect their own YouTube account to push captioned clips to their channel. We're extending this Social Push feature to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok so sponsors can connect those accounts too and share captioned clips or user-generated content directly. Access tokens are encrypted and stored only to perform the posting you authorize.
Powers search across business listings, video transcripts, and merch, using only that public-facing content.
Fulfills physical merch orders. Receives your name, shipping address, email, and phone at checkout.
Hosts our site, apps, and database, and sends/receives account, RSVP, billing, and support emails on our behalf.
Used only as an optional backup channel for inbound organizer support email.
Loads web fonts in your browser. Your IP address is shared with Google when a page requests a font.
How We Use Your Information
- Operate sponsor accounts, event listings, and merch orders
- Transcribe, caption, and publish approved video content
- Power on-site search
- Send account, billing, RSVP, and support notifications
- Enable sponsors to push content to their own connected social accounts
- Understand aggregate site traffic and improve the Site
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers listed above, each strictly for the purpose described, and with legal authorities if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Craft Beer International or others.
Your Choices and Rights
- Opt out of marketing emails anytime via the unsubscribe link
- Control cookies through your browser settings
- Disconnect a connected social account (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) at any time from your sponsor dashboard, which revokes our access token
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@craftbeerinternational.com
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Craft Beer International is a 21-plus platform and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information submitted through the Site, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
